The movie is about Divya (Revathi) marries Chandrakumar (Mohan), under family pressure an affable, a soft-spoken company manager from New Delhi. She is unable to reconcile her marriage with a haunting past by memories of a former lover, Manohar (Karthik). When Chandrakumar comes to know her past he fulfill her wish , divorce and live one-year period, under the same roof for the duration period to get divorce granted. What happens in this one year and after that is the rest of the movie.
