Did Chandrababu insult Rosaiah's caste?
If Rosaiah's close leaders like Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, Amanchi Krishna Mohan etc are to be believed then Chandrababu Naidu insulted Rosaiah and the Vysya caste people.
Today at a meeting in the Krishna district, Chandrababu said that Rosaiah is behaving like a retail shopkeeper who counts his money every evening.
"Just like a retail shopkeeper, Rosaiah is also counting daily on how much money he and his family members managed to loot from the treasury" said Chandrababu Naidu.
Now Rosaiah's followers have come down on these comments.
"Since shopkeepers(grocery stores) refers to the Vysya caste in general, he insulted Rosaiah and his caste people" claimed Gandra and Amanchi.
However the TDP ridiculed this argument. "He was the finance minister of Andhra Pradesh for around 16 years. So when we talk of the Andhra Pradesh's financial matters, we have referred to him as shopkeeper as he is also heading the finance ministry" they claimed.
However the Congress leaders are not ready to let this die down so easily.
