TRS unhappy with outcome of CMs' meet on Babli
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has expressed disappointment over the outcome of the meeting between the chief ministers of AP and Maharshtra with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at Delhi today.TRS leader and former MP B Vinodkumar welcomed the central government's efforts on this issue but expressed disappointment that the meeting could not find any permanent solution for Babli controversy. The decision to implement the Supreme Court interim orders on Babli project issue would not protect the interests of AP, particularly Telangana region, he said. He demanded that the central government should find a political solution to the controversy as that alone would protect of rights of AP on the Godavari waters.
