Rayapati gives diamonds to Barack Obama!
Today the US president, Barack Obama, addressed the MPs of both the houses of Indian parliament.
Incidentally unlike the time when Bill Clinton addressed the parliament, this time the MPs are well behaved!
Many years back, when Bill Clinton addressed the parliament,the MPs pushed and jostled with each other to just touch him!
Today after addressing the parliament, Barack Obama met many MPs.
Our poor Rayapati did not get the chance. But when Barack was going out of the central hall, Rayapati ran after him and shook hands to a bewildered Obama!
Then he did the unthinkable. He gave a diamond studded chain to Barack Obama which reportedly costs around four lakhs. Incidentally he was the only MP to give any gift to him.
Obama accepted the gift with elan and later he asked about him and our Rayapati was on cloud nine when he came to know that the US president inquired about him.
Maybe our Rayapati is hoping that Obama government would help him as he has plans to set up various businesses in USA! Whatever it is our MP Rayapati has has made a mark in US President's mind.
